A bottle with a story at Le Gosse Wroclaw

Not every story fits in a glass. That’s why we created a special bottle selection — wines with personality, energy, and depth. Each of them brings something to the table. And as Alina, our sommelier, says: «A good wine is not only about taste — it’s something that stays with you».

1. Pouilly-Fumé «Grand Cuvée» 2020 – Fournier Père et Fils / Sauvignon Blanc / France

Fournier Père et Fils grow their own grapes in Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre to fully express the character of the soil — clay with flint. This wine evolves beautifully: young aromas of grass and citrus slowly change into notes of honey, cream, and soft minerals. Elegant and rich — perfect to age, but great already.

Best with: scallops or salmon

Alina, sommelier at Le Gosse: «It’s a 300 km journey from knowing Sauvignon Blanc to truly loving it. This bottle takes you there»

2. Muscadet La Chauvinière – J. Huchet / Melon de Bourgogne / Francja

This wine from the Loire Valley ages on lees (yeast sediment). It’s light, fresh, and salty — simple at first, but clean, dry, and precise. It doesn’t shout — but whispers to those who really listen. A true classic that works with many dishes.

Best with: snails or cordon bleu

Alina: «This wine doesn’t speak loud — but it knows exactly what to say»

3. Les Églantiers – Brotte, Tavel / Grenache Rosé / France

Églantiers means wild roses — and this rosé is just as beautiful. It’s fruity, full, with a bit of spice and great structure. Perfect with light meats or as the beginning of a long, warm evening.

4. Jas de Bressy – Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge 2020 / GSM Blend / France

A true classic from Southern Rhône. A mix of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah gives power, rich fruit, herbs, and dry earth aromas. Strong, elegant, and balanced — perfect when your evening starts getting serious.

5. Pardusco Private 2017 – Anselmo Mendes / Alvarelhão / Portugal

Yes, red Vinho Verde exists! Anselmo Mendes turns a local tradition into something special. From granite soils in northern Portugal, this wine matures 24 months in oak. It’s deep and elegant, with cherry, red fruits, herbs, smoke — and mineral freshness that makes it lively.
